Fine. *** Jerome Rothenberg (born December 11, 1931) is an American poet, translator and anthologist, noted for his work in the fields of ethnopoetics and performance poetry. “No one writing poetry today has dug deeper into the roots of poetry,” wrote Kenneth Rexroth (the “Godfather” of the Beats). Rothenberg has published about seventy volumes of poetry, often in collaboration with other artists. He’s a true international poet with a career spanning more than half a century.
