La Tierra Prohibida de Terry Holiday

Photographic soft covers. 47pp. A series of photographs by Mexican artist Adolfo Patino (1954-2005) of the transsexual Mexican actress and drag queen Terry Holiday, taken in the late 1970s. Patiño envisioned her as “the embodiment of one of Andy Warhol’s superstars” and photographs her as she slowly takes off her clothes, “offering an exaggerated image of conventionalized female sexuality”.
