8vo. Laminated pictorial boards. Some grey spots to top-edge of text block and a bit of soiling and sticker ghost to upper board. Interior fine. Copiously illustrated throughout in b/w and with a 16-page collage of colour photographs.*** An encyclopedia of Punk in the year 1977. “’77 is a detailed and comprehensively illustrated history of all the 200+ UK (and Irish) punk of new wave artists who released a record (or appeared on a compilation) in 1977. This is by far the most complete document of the myriad punk groups that were thriving before punk’s revolutionary fire burnt out.” It claims on the cover that the book is a ‘very limited hardback edition’, but no limitation is given. It appears to be pretty scarce though.
