Grey cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Tiny bulge to cloth at top right-hand corner. Very faint foxing to leaves at the beginning and end of book. Dust cover sl. faded to spine, some foxing to flaps and back of d/w. Small stain to outer edge of d/w. No noticeable shelf wear – a very nice copy of McInerney’s ground-breaking first novel. First hard back edition.
