Binding tight and square. *** A photographic reportage of 100 nights at the famous punk club the Roxy. Black and white photographs of the bands, audience and hangers-on, presented in chronological order. With 6 full page colour reproductions of publicity posters. The Roxy, situated at 41-43 Neal Street Covent Garden was London’s most famous Punk club and ran from December 1976-April 1977. It was situated in a converted warehouse off Covent Garden market. It had a bar upstairs and a stage in the basement. A memorial plaque was unveiled on 25th April 2017 to mark forty years since closing.
