Raging Bull: My Story

First edition. 218pp. + [xvi] plates. Hardback in dust jacket. Publisher’s maroon cloth boards with gilt to spine. Faint traces of foxing to edges of text block. Jacket age-toned and slightly rubbed with minor chipping and a few closed tears to extremities and one to upper spine fold. A near fine copy in a very good jacket.*** A scarce first printing of Jake La Motta’s autobiography, famously adapted into the film of the same name (1980), directed by Martin Scorcese and starring Robert De Niro as La Motta.
