Published (if that’s the right word) from July 1976 until September 1977 under the editorship of Mark Perry it became the true chronicle of the early days of British punk rock as well as pioneering the DIY punk aesthetic. NME acclaimed “Sniffin’ Glue” as “the nastiest, healthiest and funniest piece of press in the history of rock’n’roll habits” . Perry ceased publication in 1977 with this anniversary issue, the only one with a flexi-disc single.
