£75.00
4to. Mimeographed, stapled pages with a single staple to corner, as issued. Complete with the original flexi-disc single Love Lies Limp by Alternative TV on SG Records. Copiously illustrated in b/w throughout. Unpaginated [28 pages]. Some toning to pages. First leaf (the front cover) slightly creased and a little torn around the staple (but still attached). A near fine copy of this anniversary issue of Sniffin’ Glue, the last one edited by Mark Perry. *** Sniffin’ Glue is one of the most important punk publications of the period. Published (if that’s the right word) from July 1976 until September 1977 under the editorship of Mark Perry it became the true chronicle of the early days of British punk rock as well as pioneering the DIY punk aesthetic. NME acclaimed “Sniffin’ Glue” as “the nastiest, healthiest and funniest piece of press in the history of rock’n’roll habits” . Perry ceased publication in 1977 with this anniversary issue, the only one with a flexi-disc single.
