Small sticker remains to upper flap. *** The Winged Man was originally serialized in much shorter form in 1944 in Astounding Science Fiction. The original novella was co-written by Van Vogt and his wife, E. Mayne Hull. It was substantially expanded by Van Vogt into the 1966 novel. He added roughly 25,000 words, new characters, and additional plot threads.
