This club operated largely outside the law from the early 1980’s until 1991 when its owner was found dead on the premises. It was a breeding ground of New York’s house scene and attracted a diverse clientele, including celebrity guests like Keith Haring, Madonna, Brooke Shields, Prince, Frank Zappa, etc. Amazing photographs, with Lupino’s captions and short sections with “remarks from his friends”.
